Lust 4 PHOTOGRAPHY: MIWA SAKAMOTO TEST SHOOT

Here are a few shots from my test with MIWA SAKAMOTO. She is one of those girls who totally has that "Urban Outfitters" type of look so we went with sheer yellow top and cargo pants for the first look, a funky pattern dress that keep it young and fun for the second look and for the last look, the jean shorts and the graphic tee.

Lust 4 DESIGN: " The Bailey House " Case Study House #21 - Architecture by PIERRE KOENIG

The Bailey House was built in 1958 by PIERRE KOENIG and is a designated L.A. Historic-Cultural Monument as of November 9th 1999. It is part of a program that ran intermittently from 1945 until 1966 called the Case Study Houses. These concept experiments in American residential architecture were sponsored by Arts & Architecture magazine, which commissioned major architects from the early 40's to the late 60's, including Richard Neutra, Raphael Soriano, Craig Ellwood, Charles and Ray Eames, Pierre Koenig and Eero Saarinen, to design and build inexpensive and efficient model homes for the United States residential housing boom caused by the end of World War II. A couple years ago I had the opportunity to go to a photo shoot for Macy's and the location was at another one of case study house and ever since if been fascinated by these modernist L.A. pieces of art. The Case Study Houses have used in numerous advertisements and fashion campaigns.

If you haven't already heard one of my favorite clothing companies Banana Rupublic has collaberated with JANIE BRYANT, the costume designer for AMC'S hit tv show Mad Men . The collection will feature 65 pieces for men and women and will be availabe in North American stores and online August 11.

Lust 4 FASHION: LEICA x PAUL SMITH // Limited Edition Camera Cases

LEICA and PAUL SMITH have teamed up to create two exclusive leather cases for the Leica D-Lux 5 digital camera. These cases were released in October and sold through the Lecia's store in and Paul Smith stores in the UK. These fashionable cases were limited edition and only 300 cases were made. The cases retailed at £200. Your best bet is to look on ebay or amazon but good luck with that.

The LIFE: Exclusive GUESS High Tide Summer Series Pool Party Pt. 2 at the Tropicana Pool

This saturday I went to another pool party. GUESS hosted their second installment of "High Tide", a summer series of pool parties with OM Records and dubFrequency at Tropicana Pool at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. There were plenty of give aways and lots of fun! I can't wait for the next one!
