Lust 4 FASHION: Louis Vuitton x Marc Jacobs Book

Author and curator Pamela Golbin shows readers how two fashion icons who have shaped an obscure little luggage workshop in Paris into one of history's most recognizable brands. The book talks about the inception of Louis Vuitton in 1854 and it's evolution into the luxury brand it is today guided by fashion designer Marc Jacobs who became creative director in 1997.

The Louis Vuitton / Marc Jacobs book will be released through publisher Rizzoli on March 6, 2012 and the MSRP is $75 US in hard cover format.

Lust 4 FASHION: LEICA x PAUL SMITH // Limited Edition Camera Cases

LEICA and PAUL SMITH have teamed up to create two exclusive leather cases for the Leica D-Lux 5 digital camera. These cases were released in October and sold through the Lecia's store in and Paul Smith stores in the UK. These fashionable cases were limited edition and only 300 cases were made. The cases retailed at £200. Your best bet is to look on ebay or amazon but good luck with that.

Today "The Tents" premiered in New York. The documentary directed by James Belzer chronicles the history of New York Fashion Week from it's humble beginnings to the all out extravaganza of today's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. "The TENTS" debuted at NEWFEST, the New York LGBT Festival at the SVA Theater. If you've ever wished you could go to New York Fashion Week this "The TENTS" is next best thing outside of actually being front row in person at Bryant Park.
